<figure class="image image-style-align-left image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/85164/rich_content/8ecaca35-a358-4e0f-86f4-634e0b46abc0/21-11-04-at-09-21-45.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2253cf8887-062d-4325-a437-8d4a444fac82%22%2C%22w%22%3A1350%2C%22h%22%3A1080%7D"></figure><figure class="image image-style-align-left image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/85164/rich_content/fade0cd9-e97f-40de-8629-2064ba923a41/21-11-05-at-09-22-44.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%223f837620-3a83-437b-b2c3-48108912bfea%22%2C%22w%22%3A1350%2C%22h%22%3A1080%7D"></figure><p>This is a simple pad for a G-clamp to prevent the workpiece being marred by the metal screw end.<br><br>I've used a coin (Australian 10c) because it's the cheapest way for me to obtain a metal disk, and I didn't want to use a regular washer due to the risk of the clamp screw popping through the hole in the centre. &nbsp;If you are on a tighter budget a 5c coin will be almost as good!</p><p>The pad as drawn is 24mm diameter and the perimeter clip 0.3mm smaller than the overall diameter. &nbsp; It's a loose fit so that the pad can find its own level in use.<br><br>You can either scale using PrusaSlicer to fit your own coin or disk, or you can change the diameter parameter in my<a href="https://cad.onshape.com/documents/7ad138141165d78cf7d8e236/w/06512d5c9d955c937f2ed1ab/e/0c7252ccfcccefbe68603f86?renderMode=1&amp;uiState=6184737652c73c641060ebb1"> Onshape file here.</a><br><br>I fix the coin to the clamp with a big blob of hot glue, but I imagine that silicone would work just as well. &nbsp; In practice the hot glue works very well and I can easily remove the clamps if I have a heavy metal job for them.</p><p>Printed in PLA with PrusaSlicer standard 0.2mm QUALITY setting and 0.4mm nozzle.<br><br>&nbsp;</p>
