Gaff tape is wonderful stuff, but the big rolls are unwieldy and they have a tendency to grow legs and “walk” off site. Inspired by a [comment on MetaFilter](https://www.metafilter.com/179649/Ross-Lowell-shuffles-off-this-mortal-coil#7646938) describing how you can wrap gaffer tape around a pen to make sure you've always got some, I made these tiny spools that hold about a metre of tape. Sized for 2" wide tape, the OpenSCAD model is easily changed for almost any width, thickness or amount of tape. This thing is dedicated to the memory of the late [Ross Lowell](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ross-lowell-dead-oscar-recipient-inventor-gaffer-tape-was-92-1190871), inventor of gaffer tape.
