Gaggia Classic 2015 Steam Knob

Gaggia Classic 2015 Steam Knob

This is a replacement steam knob for the Gaggia Classic 2015 model which connects to a white plastic steam valve, not the metal verson. The knob is a nice tight fit so don't be fiightened to push in on firmly. Ensure the steam valve is in the closed postion before pushing all the way onto the shaft, leaving a 1mm clearance gap from the end. This will set the knob into the correct position. The print files attached are a standard STL and a 3mf created on Prusaslicer all ready to go. I used SUNLU PLA at 215c for the frist layer dropping down to 210c for the reminding. Bed temp set to 60c. Print takes 1 hour, 38 minutes at 0.20mm quality. The steam knob does require a little support to bridge the hollow gap. This is all set up in the 3mf file ready to go. If you require any parts or upgrades of the Gaggia Classic, head over to the friendly folk at theespressoshop.co.uk for parts & shades of coffee for all upgrades. Both really helpful. I hope this helps get you back on track steaming your milk.
