Gaggia Classic Pro drip tray with integrated Timemore Scales

This is drip tray for the Gaggia Classic Pro (2019) which incorporates a cut out section so that your Timemore Black Basic + coffee scales can be integrated into the drip tray. The drip tray remains functional and fits the original metal plate as supplied with the Gaggia Classic pro and still retains use of the overflow pipe without the need to add extensions etc. The scales fit perfectly under the drip tray BUT the weight of the entire drip tray is taken by the scales. This means that the entire drip-tray area becomes part of the scales and maximises the space. The scales can be switched on/off without the need to remove them from under the drip tray and all buttons can be utilised. This design also allows for larger cups to be used when using scales as the overall height of the drip tray remains as per the original. This design could work with other scales but it has been designed to work with the Timemore Black Basic + which have a width of 130mm.
