<p>As I fly my FIMI X8 with my tablet, I needed something to carry it around in and keep it protected.</p> <p>It's printed in 4 separate pieces and then glued together.</p> <p>There are recesses for the buttons and the camera lens, and the tablet slides in/out easily, but is gently retained by 2 small nubs inside.</p> <p>It gets put into a small carry bag along with my tripod mount gear:</p> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4632311/files">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4632311/files</a></p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>AluMaker</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.15</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>25%</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> eSun is what I used PLA+ is my preference <p>Your choice</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>You will need 2 each of Part 1, 1 each of Part 2, and 1 each of Part 3.<br/> Position them on the build plate with the inside facing up. <p>Support will be needed on Parts 2 and 3.</p> <h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Assembly</strong></p> <div><p>I use medium CA from HobbyKing and TiteBond spray Activator.<br/> Scuff up the gluing edges of the parts with some 220 paper <p>Glue a Part 1 to Part 2 to create one long half.</p> <p>Glue the remaining Part 1 to Part 3 to create the 2nd long half.</p> <p>Glue both halves together..</p> </p></div></p></div></p></p> Category: Tablet
