Jar band and air-lock top for US standard 1-gallon pickle jars with 6-tab thread on 27mm pitch and opening OD (unthreaded portion) of 96.4mm. AKA: 100TW 6 Lug Jar The band can be used with coffee-filter paper for aerobic fermentation and the airlock top for anaerobic secondary ferments. On the airlock top, a standard 3-piece airlock can be installed using a small piece of 3/8 ID x 9/16 silicone tubing (substitute as needed, of course). An airtight glass-to-lid seal can be made using liquid rubber. UPDATED 2022-10-12 with improved thread, edges, and gasket models
