Game of Life Parts Box

Game of Life Parts Box

We have the Game of Life board game from the 90s and there are several pieces that were loose inside the box. I designed a simple box to store the cards, Life tokens, cars, and people. I haven't tried it with any other version of the game. All the sections are 75mm long (the approx height of the cards) and each is 25mm deep (the approx height of the Life tokens). The widths of the sections are: Cards: 55mm Tokens: 42mm Cars: 25mm People: 25mm The exterior dimensions of the box (with the lid) are: 159mm (W) x 81mm (D) x 31mm (H) I can confirm that the box fits in the game box near the middle edge of the board opposite of the fold - see attached pic - without interfering with the box closing. The box includes cutouts on the side to help retrieve the cards and tokens. I added a small hole under the cards so that you could use a finger to make it easier to retrieve the cards. The lid has a small indentation on the top to give you some purchase when you slide it on/off and there is a small raised feature on the bottom to help keep the lid securely on. The box and lid interface via a wedge feature. I designed it with 0.5mm of clearance so there shouldn't be a problem with it fitting. With my settings, I have very little side-to-side play in the lid and the fit is secure enough to withstand the amount of use that I expect this box to endure.
