The purpose is to be able to snap together the case pieces, stack and organize your GameBoy, GameBoy Color and GameBoy Advance games. [Demo video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORnGEjNt0y4) Case version 2.4.2 Is the stackable version of the GB/GBA/GBC cartridge case. Case version 2.4.2-DisplayNostack was made at request to remove the lower right corner overhang and make it a single layer display friendly design. The GBA Filler piece can be used to fill the gap above a GBA cart, sadly I couldn't stack 2 GBA carts in 1 frame. There just wasn't enough space, and it would weaken the over all design. Though the filler does have a 12mm recessed portion to add a label if you choose. The 2Way and 3Way edges can be printed as needed and mixed together in your layout to frame in the collection, and multiples or different sizes can be used together. These work with the included corner pieces that will press in on the outside corners and finish up the case. Lastly for those that wish to stand their display upright, I've added "Mario Themed" feet you can stand your collection upright with. --------------------- Updated Version 2.1 - 2/14/19 I've corrected the stacking issue, all sections should snug together just fine now. I've also included 2 versions, normal and "rounded". The rounded version adds a .6mm rounded edge at the bottom layer for smoother meshing between pieces. --------------------- Updated version 2.2 - 2/14/19 I've made a couple of very minor adjustments, making some of the layers smaller so everything snaps together cleaner and more level. I've also increased the size of the tiny nib in the top left that helps line up vertically stacked cases. I also may get rid of the non-rounded version, the rounded is all I have been printing so far. --------------------- Updated version 2.2 - 2/14/19 There was a very minor fix in the Sketchup files for the original case design, this wont impact 2.2 to 2.3 fitment, just cleans up the SKP files abit for the case. I've removed the non-rounded versions, having the rounded edges on the first layer helps allow the sections to mesh together easier and I have yet to print / test anything but the rounded versions. I've added border brace / frame sections, that are either 2 wide or 3 wide. This gives you an added layer of interlocking and adds a smooth border to your collection layout. The 2WayEdges files are the 2 piece frame files to join 2 sections together, and in turn the 3WayEdges files are 3 pieces wide. This gives you several options to interlock and or alternate sizes to frame in your case layout. Lastly, there is a CornerLock piece, this goes into the exterior corners of the frame pieces and fills in the gap / locks the corners together. I do plan on adding a quick center lock part to fill in the other frame gaps when joining multiple frame sections together that do not end in a outside corner. And final plans are to add an upright base / feet, thus if you wish to stand you cart tower up and display your collection, you can snap the feet on and stand it upright. (p.s. I'm debating adding an additional top/bottom tab layout, so you can snap them together in a pyramid offset, or the current square layout, leave a comment if you would like to see that update) --------------------- Updated version 2.4.1 - 2/17/19 Possibly the final update, the frame sections fit better now, though I would recommend if you wish to use your design/layout long time it may be best to add a few drops of CA glue between joints to solidify the case. The corner sections have been updated and the slop taken out of their fitment. The case (2.4) itself has been updated to allow a GBA cartridge. Case version 2.3 and version 2.4 fit together with out issue, nothing was changed here, just adding GBA cart support in case version 2.4. I've added an optional GBA filler piece. I've added Mario Themed feet for standing the frame up vertically. --------------------- Updated version 2.4.1 - 2/17/19 Minor updated, I've added WallMount files, that are intended to mount your collection to the wall to show off. --------------------- Updated version 2.4.1a - 2/19/19 I've had a request to make a display case that removes the lower corner overhang so more of the cart is visible. I've added a Display-Nonstack version of the case. This removes all the raised edges used for stack alignment as well as removes the corner overhang. --------------------- Updated version 2.4.2 - 2/22/19 I've removed the small lip on the inner walls of both the stackable case and non-stackable display case. I also fixed a 0.2mm wall thickness on the left and right inner walls in the cartridge piece. --------------------- But, as always, Google Sketchup source files are included.
