Gamecube Controller Joystick Caps

Gamecube Controller Joystick Caps

This is a simple cap meant to replace broken GameCube joystick tips. This replaces the rubber section, which often gets worn off after prolonged use. I included multiple styles, my favorite of which is the neg_ridge model (it feels the most similar to the original). I recommend printing a single cap to test tolerances, then printing the plate and testing out all of the various options. The model is meant to be printed in rigid plastic, and then held on with adhesives (I may work on a ninjaflex or similar version later). Installation is simple, start by removing all remaining rubber bits from the joystick and then press the cap onto the plastic nub. I used a little bit of blu-tack to keep mine on, but hot glue should work fine. I really don't recommend doing this to a controller that still has the rubber on, since it almost definitely will result in a worse gaming experience.
