GameCube Face Button Remix

GameCube Face Button Remix

thingiverse

The original design for the Gamecube buttons was not entirely accurate to the original buttons. When I tried using them in my Gamecube controller they did not give the correct feel when pushing them. I decided to go in and add the small plus attached to the button and add some custom supports to avoid using support in the entire button. The custom support was made with a 0.06mm layer height in mind and has not been tested yet. I will update once my test is complete with results compared to the original design. This is just the A button for now, but if all goes well, I may add the remaining buttons. The file is also much smaller than the original. UPDATE: The A-button printed perfectly and feels just like the original, there was a small problem with the original file where the center pole was too long, but that has been fixed. Alongside this, I have remade the other 3 main buttons and so far have tested the B-button, and will be testing the other two shortly. If there are any problems feel free to let me know.
