For the dovetail mounting, I would recommend a rubberized type of glue for grip and to make it stay when firing. This will only fit the Gamo 621258654 Gamo 10X Quick-Shot(Gen 1) in .22 cal(5.5mm) to my knowledge, I do not have the .177 Cal(4.5mm) to test, nor do I have the Gen 2 to test with. The Gamo that I have has the dovetail built-in, and I added Picatinny rails off of that, so what I was looking for was a Picatinny based holder, with the option to go back to the stock mount if I later desired. This could also be done in a 20mm weaver rail mount if desired, depending upon your system. Additionally, it can be printed, so that the mounting system is removed, making it great for putting 4 mags in an ammo pouch, and being able to carry 40 rounds that way, instead of an AR-15 or M-16 style magazine depending on the style of magazine pouch you have available. This would also allow for a Molle attachment to be connected to the back, or other additional mounting type systems. My biggest thank you goes to Predator04 for the almost working original design.
