Lithophanes and Height maps seem to be a popular subject these days. I found an interesting picture of Gandhi on a stamp. This is a Lithophane of Gandhi on a stamp. Any number of lithophane prints can be made by simply changing a file name in the .fab script. Instructions 1) Download 2) Print 3) Rejoice! The native size is 256x256, so if you're going to print it, you'll probably want to scale it somewhat.
