A gantry crane for loading and unloading train cars. The CAD drawings are of the latest version, which match the STL files. The pictures of the printed crane are of my first version. The main difference are improvements to the winch. Instructions Print 1 of each of the main pieces. 2 Supports. 4 to 16 wheels - depending on how you want your wheel configuration print . Pulley Housing Drop a magnet in during printing. I used a neodymium magnet (diam 12mm, 3mm thick). Pause the printing, and drop the magnet in, it will get blocked in by the print. I did this for child safety. I used bakers twine for the string. I tied several overhand knots to create a ball to anchor the string ends. If you are really good with knots, I would suggest doing a monkey fist. General Notes Due to printer variations and the small holes, there may be some variations in the final hole diameters. Adjust to different bolts or drill holes out as needed. Other Parts - what I used Pulley Wheel 1 - 16mm cap head bolt Wheel Axles 8 - 4/40 1.25" cap head bolts 8 - 4/40 washers 8 - 4/40 lock nuts Spool Winch 2 - 16 mm cap head bolt
