Gantry Crane Hoist

Designed this Hoist in SolidWorks 2015 so that it can be carried on a trailer (or Helicopter) to Job-Sites in smaller parts easy for 2 people to lift. It raises and lowers from 8 feet to 12.5 feet measured from the bottom of the i-beam. We are using a 2-Ton Chain hoist on it but it can easily lift at least a ton more. Center posts can be lowered all the way to the floor for storage or for very heavy lifts. Hoist has threaded levelers as-well-as 360 degree turning wheels. The future plan is to be able to re-configure it with other parts; hence, the reason for all the extra bolt hole locations ~~ There are many many more bolt holes than are needed on the hoist parts because it is part of the 'Equipment Erector Set' as we are calling it :-) Some of the parts on the hoist will be combined with 'future' other parts we will be making for equipment on a job-site to move items on a mountainside stabilization project for houses :-) Build Photos at: https://ctmprojectsblog.wordpress.com/2015/07/02/adjustable-height-gantry-hoist/ :-)
