Gap Fillers for Transformers Legacy Dragstrip

Gap Fillers for Transformers Legacy Dragstrip

With the Legacy line upon us, we get Menasor's right hand man - Dragstrip! A fun and well designed figure, Dragstrip is less hollow than previous bots. But there's still a few gappy parts in him - so let's fix that! First up are these little pieces which go into the underside of his forearm and should hold in place snugly. Next, these somewhat square-ish holes in his biceps get the gap filler treatment too - as seen in this before and after comparison. Lastly, the hollow on the back of the head (could it be for a mini driver figure?) gets made more solid with a filler too. These fillers were all designed to fit nicely without much force or being too loose. However, they can also be removed fairly easily, in case they are needed for the Menasor's combine mode or something. Using a sharp hobby blade, carefully slide the blade into the slight gap between the 3d print and the figure. Slightly angling the blade should allow it to notch into the hollow bit of the piece, and yank it forward. === Assembly === Nothing too complicated here, but the attached image shows the various bits of this set. As tolerances are really key here, there may be a need to slightly scale the pieces before printing to get them just right. Thankfully these are really small parts should reprinting them shouldn't take too long. === Hope everyone's enjoying the new lineup as much as we are too - and have fun gap filling Drapstrip to make him just that tad more solid! =) === This model is not to be uploaded or sold in any form and is intended for personal use only.
