A magnet holder for Hormann garage doors to reconnect the household alarm system without drilling holes in your new door. You will need a 35mm M5 bolt or screw and a 40mm x 25mm x 10mm magnet to complete the set up. Just print the holder, slip the holder over the bottom roller bracket on your door. Slip the magnet in and position just above the sensor as per the photo. The bolt self taps and holds the part in place. You can silicone/glue the magnet in place or wrap gaffer tape around it for a snug fit. If silicone/glue is used, put a wooden spacer of around 10mm on the floor sensor then lower the door with the magnet in place and leave overnight. This will then give a 10mm gap between the magnet and the sensor which worked perfectly on my set up. Don't forget to test the alarm before the glue sets! Close the door and set the alarm - if it sets OK, open the door - does the alarm go off? If both are true then you are done. If not, try lowering the magnet in the holder a bit by reducing the spacer thickness.
