Initially, I took the clip off the remote, used double sided tape, and stuck it onto the interior surface of my car. That was when I didn't have my 3D printer yet. A couple of years later, the battery started to fade. I had to pry the remote out to change the battery. That was not a very good solution. So, this cradle has been created. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 4 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .25mm resolution .4mm nozzle Post-Printing Use double sided tape to fix the cradle onto a surface of the car. How I Designed This The outline of the remote was traced onto a piece of paper. The image was then scanned. The outline was measured with a caliper. I then then modeled it in Fusion 360.
