Garage Door Tilt Module for Door/Window Alarm Sensor

I wanted to replace my tilt sensors on my garage door with a door/window sensor. The tilt sensors would often fail and I've had to replace them multiple times. I needed a way to be able to use a standard door/window sensor with my garage door. The way this works is you stick the long module to the part marked BACK and the reed magnet to the part market FRONT. This way when the garage door opens, the pieces separate and break the connection. The part with the compartment is to add additional weight incase you have a strong magnet, or a metal garage door and the magnet tries to stick to that. Put some washers, or something heavy in the front compartment to break the magnet connection. Insert a bolt into the holes and a nut to keep it connected. The swing should be free moving so when the garage opens it flips open. Make sure to stick this high up on your door, but also make sure it can open freely without hitting anything metal and causing the magnet to stick to it.
