Repurpose those empty plastic containers to make these garden critters.

Cut up the water bottle, print these bodies, paint your plastic parts (wings, shell, etc), and glue them onto the bodies.

Models:

Beetle

Butterfly

Dragonfly

Hummingbird

Snail

Tulip

We found that cutting off the top and bottom of the water bottle first was helpful. The bottom of the bottle can be used for the snail's shell. The top can be turned into a stand for the tulip (see the pictures). The remaining cylinder can be cut up to make the wings.

Gluing the wings onto the smaller models like the dragonfly can be a little challenging. If you discover any tricks or easy ways to do this, please comment.
