My garden tap is an old 5/8" BSP connection. All modern hose adapters in the UK are either 1/2" BSP or 3/4" BSP. There are not many fittings or adapters available. I found one here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Threaded-Outside-Adaptor-Hozelock-Connector/dp/B07H51MNKC but it costs £6 and was going to take a while to arrive... so I made this adapter.
