I designed three bicycle mounts for a Gamin Fenix 5x watch. Nothing too fancy and more of a practical orientated geometry. Version “steerer cap mount” replaces the topcap on your steerer / stem via a M6 counter sunk screw. There’s a little notch on the bottom which fits into the groove of your stem and keeps the mount from rotating. Version “out front mount” is an insert for a genuine Garmin Edge mount. All you need is two additional M3 hex screws and nuts (self-locking!) to replace the original insert with your printed one. Version "stem mount" is strapped to your stem via two zip ties. This mount was designed for stems with a body diameter of Ø 34 mm. But it should also work for diameters which differ slightly. The little pocket on the bottom is for gluing in a piece or two of an old bicycle inner tube to prevent the mount from rotating or slipping on your stem. All three mounts should be printed sideways so that the filament follows the shape of the clip which gets deformed while mounting the watch. I chose PLA+, a 0.15 mm layer height and 2,5 mm wall thickness. Supports are needed. The stop underneath the clip prevents it from deforming over time and allows just enough movement to clip your watch in and out. I got mine in use for over a year now with almost 3 rides a week. So far, I had no issues what so ever. Have fun printing it and enjoy your rides!
