This is not meant as a permanent replacement for the original part, I´m sure Garmin has made the original part to certain standards. But it´s nice to have as a temporary fix until a new one arrives from Garmin. I always have a few laying around as the original skeg seems to be quite fragile.

It´s a straight bolt on part, requiring no modifications.

I´ve been using Prusament PLA, 50% infill and support, however, the bridging is minimal, I´m sure you can print it without support too.

Print time is about 3½ hours with original 0.20mm SPEED settings

Update 09.08.2021: Garmin has redesigned the original skeg to a more flexible and slimmer model, the bolts for this new skeg doesn´t fit this 3D printed model. As I remember it, the new bolts coming with the new design from Garmin is shorter. However, if you have the bolts left from the older model this will fit just fine.
