2017/03/17 update garmin_gopro_318clamp_v2.FCStd is FreeCAD (https://www.freecadweb.org/) project file. it's an OpenSource 3D CAD. My original design is for 31.8mm handlebar with M4x16 screw, you can easy customize by editing "bikeClamp" & "screwSet" spreadsheet in FreeCAD. ex, 26mm + M5 screw. etc... a_318_clamp_with_hinge_v2.stl : use spreadsheet to customize clamp & screw size b_gopro_mount_v2.stl : shrink center fin for more loose c_garmin_edge_mount_v2.stl : dig a hole for garmin edge 800 temperature sensor ============================================================= 2017/03/09 initial post I want to design a garmin + gopro mount on my 31.8mm bicycle handlebar. but I fail on strength design(junction broken) when I do road test. so I have given up this design, and buy a commercial one. I am no longer working on it. those basic component working fine, I would like to share that you can take and remix it. I use 0.2mm layer height, 80%infill, PLA, try your own setting. a_318_clamp_with_hinge.stl : use one M4 screw with nut b_gopro_mount.stl : the base plate is 18x18x2mm : BTW, my action cam is SJ9000, I think should work on gopro too. c_garmin_edge_mount.stl : the outer ring radius is 18mm, height is 4.5mm Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 80%
