I was looking for a simple and effective solution to mount my old Garmin Dakota 20 on a quarter turn garmin system (Garmin Edge). My other design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3131928) was not very convincing in terms of durability Finally, I found the solution proposed by Shapeways (https://www.shapeways.com/product/XF3QSGQSY/garmin-gps-etrex-to-edge-mount-converter). There are two models: mounting on an quarter-turn system or replacing the headstet top cap (short stem) . Concerning existing Garmin mounts (quarter-turn), we can found several solutions depending of the stem length : adjustable or fixed (see https://k-edge.com/product-category/computer-mounts/garmin-mounts/). There is also free solutions on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1712565 or https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3685146) I realized under Fusion360 both models (files attached), based on the Shapeways designs, and the Garmin mount design by txoof (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1801904). I printed only the quarter turn version and It fits perfectly with the Garmin Dakota (see photo), but not tested yet on the bike. For the pictures, i used my new Garmin mount design for Garmin Edge (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4098784).
