Sun visor for a Garmin Montana 650 GPS (Note that the visor covers the camera). The visor clamps around the GPS providing shade for the display in bright sunlight making it easier to see. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Notes: The bolt holes on the clamps need to have a drill of the same size passed through them to remove a thin infill that makes printing without supports possible. A brim on the print will stop any lifting or curling of the base while printing. I am getting excellent results printing on Kapton tape with these settings: Temperatures: Extruder 220c layer 1 Extruder 200c layer 2 onwards Bed 85c layer 1 Bed 70c Layer 2 onwards 10mm Brim 0.2mm layers Post-Printing Step 1 Remove brim (it should just snap off) Clean up edges if necessary with a craft knife Step 2 Run a 4.5mm drill bit through the holes on in the clamp parts to remove the thin infill in the holes. This infill is deliberate it allows the parts to print without need ing any supports Step 3 Assemble the Visor around your GPS using: 4x M4x30mm Socket head Cap screws 4x M4 Nylock Nuts Align the visor to the screen and then tighten the screws to clap the visor around the GPS.
