This beautiful wooden statue of Garuda, a winged creature from Hindu mythology, also known as the king of the birds, was captured by Artec’s French Gold Certified Reseller, 3D Numerisation, with Artec Eva in AI-powered HD Mode. The model has been chosen for a reason — to test the capabilities of the new high definition mode and see how well it could capture all the carvings and small details of this half-human half-eagle figurine. And the results did not disappoint. In just one go, Eva managed to “see” all the tiniest and most difficult to scan areas such as wing holes, feathers, and the numerous small details of the bird, and the king’s costume. Paired with Artec Studio processing, magic was made in the form of an impressive and highly detailed 3D model, ready to be 3D printed in different sizes and materials.
