Introduction This is a housing for a gas metering sensor device using a reed switch. Reed switch The housing is optimised for a reed switch with glas diameter 1.8 mm and glas length 10 mm. Printing Either use the gcode file provided or slice the stl file. I used PLA, 3 perimeters and enforced some support of the housing. After printing, remove the PLA support. Then install the reed switch and the cable as described in the attached pdf file. Change it to your needs Don't hesitate to change the housing to your needs. An OpenSCAD file has been attached. Home automation This project was influenced by Sebastian's Raspi Zero Housing for BK-G4 Gas Meter (Version 2) (https://www.printables.com/model/177553-raspi-zero-housing-for-bk-g4-gas-meter-version-2) The sensor can be connected to various home automation devices, I plan to use it in an Homematic environment, see Gas Metering (https://github.com/JurgenO/GasMetering/wiki).
