Always be mindful of what the pump is doing. All fuel pumps that are allowed to sell fuel in by Federal Regulation have a venturi valve installed in the handle. This valve enables the pump to turn off when fuel reaches the spout. The engineering is definitely worth looking up! If you bump the hose you can still spill gas, so please practice safety. Dont be dumb.
