This was a question in my mind for some time. Could a 3D filament print the grippers matching Gatorade bottle-tops? Well, yes, it can! This took some zero-ing in on the right numbers but I got it dialed to my printer, a 3D Systems Cube3. The splines have a taper to them. This should provide some variability. Scale to suit if the fit is not quite right. And for those that have trouble opening Gatorade bottles due to physical limitations, definitely make this work from your printer. The caps have 120 splines and I opted to grab onto 1/2 of them. Put on a key-chain or carabiner for camping. No super strong print required. There is an internal girding-void to add strength where it is needed. I print in PLA. Haven't tried ABS or PETG yet.
