I created this support for my 2020 profile because I have both an Ender3 and an Ender4. To create some space so that the strap can pass through in the middle is necessary. Ender3: Installing a 2020-style Z-axis endstop mount on my Ender3 was incredibly straightforward. First, I disabled the motors to avoid any potential issues during the installation process. Next, I carefully moved my extruder all the way to the right side of the printer. Then, I attached and slid it smoothly point by point through the mounting holes, starting from the left side and working my way across the front and back, making sure everything was properly aligned before moving on to the final step - sliding it into place on the right side. The whole process took about 5 minutes of my time, and I'm thrilled with the result: a perfectly calibrated X axis that's now perfectly level with respect to the bed. I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me in terms of getting your own Ender3 up and running smoothly!
