gCreate Spiral Vase Rocket

Thingiverse gCreate Free 3D Printable

We have created a new Rocket Ship since everyone enjoyed the other one so much. With this new design you can now print in spiral vase mode. In this mode, you print the perimeter as one continuous line and the z-axis raises during the print causing a clean exterior with no seams. This mode also saves a lot of plastic and prints much faster.Check out the original gCreate Rocket Ship here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:427789Refer to google to see what slicing engines have spiral vase mode. Of course you can still print the normal way with several walls and infill is not required.Oh and it's a manifold model. In the photo we tried (4) different Filaments:Red: PolyMaker PolyMax PLA (http://www.polymaker.com/shop/polymax/)Blue: 3D Print Life Enviro ABS (http://www.3dprintlife.com/)Silver: Hatchbox Silver PLA (https://www.facebook.com/HATCHBOX3D/)Black: ColorFabb PLA/PHA (http://colorfabb.com/pla-pha)New!
