Even wizards drink. And nothing says “I am a big powerful wizard” like your very own Mimic Stein. Mimics being sneaky little beasts found in dungeons taking the shape of treasure chests or valuable objets d’ art, lie in wait for the unwary hero or explorer who, finding a seemingly precious chest or goblet, is terminally surprised when it attacks him/them. And so it goes with cups full of ale and beer. Heroes and Wizards attack them voraciously and as they say, “Thou only engage ale but for a while” find themselves rushing off in haste to return it, though in a slightly less potable form. Leaving your stein to wander down the bar, eating all the peanuts and drinking everyone else’s drink.
