This part is to repair a knob that frequently breaks at the point where it is inserted onto the shaft of the washer or dryer. I originally modeled each individual part of the knob assembly, but instead decided to use only the knob part and re-use the original trim ring and indicator/base. NOTE: There is a metal insert/clip that separates from the knob when it breaks and usually stays put with the shaft on the appliance. There are two versions of thing files that relate to this. The recommended method is to retrieve the metal clip and insert it into the printed knob. For this, use the models that state "use insert" or "insert required". The other method is to discard the metal clip and use the models labeled "no insert".
