Gear hob cutter (Freza melc modul)

Asked by my students, I made a model in Autodesk Inventor 2014 of a well-known milling tool for gears: Gear hob cutter, or Worm hob cutter (Romanian - Freza melc modul).The model, which is made for cutting a gear with practically any number of teeth (module 4 mm), was selected from a table which is included among the files. Having the parametric file .ipt, one can study the way this part was made. You can do this by moving the marker „End of Part” (EOP) to the top in the browser (Inventor), and then moving it down, step by step.You are invited to choose another module from the table and to create the corresponding model using the information of the given module 4.
