I sorted through the design and I wanted to simplify it and make some basic instruction details. Instructions You will need a clock assembly. Here is a link to the Hobby Lobby version.http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/1/4-mini-quartz-clock-movement-with-hands-192427/ If you are feeling a little political then you can also get one at Michaels.http://www.michaels.com/artminds-quartz-clock-movement-kit-one-quarter-inch/10040430.html either will work just the same. After that I cut and engraved everything out of 1/4" birch plywood. Next glue the small gear centered over the hole on the back of the minute plate. Just remember that the hour dial is not driven off of the hour mechanism. It is driven off of the minute dial and the gear ratio makes up for the difference. The small gear should go over the shaft without touching it. Then I glued the plate with hour/minute arrows to the main box. No need to glue the dial as it is keyed and has a good pressure fit. This is an extremely easy build. Have fun!
