Gearbox Cover for an HSP Bayer RC Car.

My friend has an HSP Bayer RC car. The original Gearbox cover melted. We thought it would be worth trying to print one, but we knew that if the original melted, it would be a challenge for printed plastic. Especially when you add the heat of the desert here in Dubai. After a few iterations this is the final version. It worked but after 7 minutes the plastic was starting to get soft. What we realized is, now that we have this STL file, an approach to an engineering firm to get one milled out of aluminum using a CNC machine is the answer. Feel free to try printing this out of plastic if you want to, but I am sure the engine heat will cause you problems. But if you want one milled from metal, this is all you need. If you do make one of these (from plastic or metal), let me know how you get on.
