This is a geared version of an egg bot. The gear allows for better resolution on the y-axis. This project uses NEMA 14 instead of NEMA 17 stepper motors. Running system with a Melzi Reprap board I had left over using a modifed merlin firmware. Using a modified unicorn inkscape plugin. Note: Several Parts require you to pause during printing and drop in a nut (M4 or 5/16) UPDATE: Added new Gear Y Plate. Stronger Design less flex. Added Thumb Nuts. The back plate gear mount was printed with 20% infill. The Egg mounts were printed with Nija Flex. Gears printed in PLA. Mounts printed in ABS.
