Some thrilling play with straightforward machinery...\nThis is my equipped 3 bladed flip open star gadget.\nThis project started as a test to determine the bare essentials required to accomplish something significant with the Up! Mini model.\nHope you appreciate it!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L7dX9VNdZs\nPrint Settings\nRafts: Does not impact performance Resolution: Higher quality results are obtained by setting higher resolution levels. Infill: Achieving the highest density possible ensures the most robust structure. Post-Printing Begin by inserting three 3/8" 2-56 pan head screws into the gear so that the heads fit snugly into the recessed areas. Position the gear in the blade housing with the three grooves facing up, ensuring the screws will protrude from it. With the gear facing upwards and threads aligned turn the gear clockwise to its maximum position then place the blades in their closed configuration. Secure the other blade housing by placing three 1/4" 2-56 pan head screws and nuts into place. This provides a snug fit preventing accidental opening. A small amount of sanding may be necessary to achieve the perfect release tension. Put on the cap with the square cutout using one 1/4" 2-56 pan head screw. Make sure not to over-tighten this screw as it will self-thread into place if you don't have a 2-56 tap available. Lastly, secure the cap featuring three holes over the protruding screws by utilizing one 1/2" 2-56 pan head screw again making sure not to overtighten it as well.
