Geeetech A10M / A20M Stand-offs with Vibration Isolation Mounts

thingiverse

I designed these lift blocks with vibration mounts for the extruders on my Geeetech A20M printer. I wanted to (a) mount the extruders vertically to make it easier to load filament, (b) raise the extruders up so they didn't interfere with the top of the build volume, and (c) add vibration isolation to the extruders. Credit for the inspiration to Fishku, Massimilianmarradi, and Djones1t. These two blocks mount to the top rail of the printer: 1. Remove the extruders and take off the sliding t-nuts. 2. Rotate the filament reel mounts to be parallel to the gantry (Mickey Mouse config). 3. Install the blocks with (4) M4x20mm screws, using the sliding t-nuts. 4. Screw in the vibration mounts into the holes on top. 5. Mount the extruders to the tops of the vibe mounts using the original M4 screws. Vibration mounts were purchased on Amazon - 4 for $2.59 with free shipping: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XZWJ1XF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
