I have a problem with Chinese clones of V6 HotEnds and standard GEEETECH HotEnds, which often give me nozzle clogs. So, I ordered an XCR-BP6, my preferred type, available on AliExpress - no affiliation. This HotEnd comes with a straight nozzle throat, allowing PTFE tubes to be pushed directly into the nozzle, suitable for PLA and low-temperature printing. However, when it arrived, I struggled to assemble it with my GTA30 due to the standard x-carriage mounting not being designed for this type of hotend. I decided to design my own using Fusion 360, keeping it as simple as possible. The picture shows the complete assembly on my GEEETECH printer using RED PLA. Don't worry; the PLA won't melt because the ventilation keeps the environment in the hotend holder cool. One more thing: to use this carriage, you'll need to extend your cabling (fan cable, thermistor, and hotend cartridge cable). I also replaced the hotend's small fan with a 40x40 fan and mounted it on the right side of the printer. All screw dimensions and sizes of the carriage match standard GEEETECH metal carriages.
