Geeetech adjustable 50mm radial fan duct

Geeetech adjustable 50mm radial fan duct

thingiverse

I've tried several fan ducts/shrouds but never really found one I like, so I drew this up. It's inspired from several other submissions on Thingiverse, but it's a completely new design. These were my objectives: * height adjustable * high air flow * high visibility * LED light support * inductive sensor support * small and easy print So far I think all criteria are met. There's a wide height adjustment range. I wanted a design that mimics a 2-stroke expansion chamber that provides a high velocity output. The duct is small so you can see what is printed. There's an integrated angled mounting point for a 12V COB LED such as this: https://www.banggood.com/2W-20led-COB-LED-Chip-150mA-WhiteWarm-White-For-DIY-DC-12V-p-957670.html Two variations of the base are provided, one with support for a 12mm inductive sensor and one without. Adjusting the height of the duct does not change the height of the inductive sensor. Both the base and the duct could be printed without supports, but I recommend to use supports for the duct. Use only supports from the build plate, there are internal supports built in. Designed for a Geeetech i3 Pro B but probably fits others too.
