I made this because I was sick of having to use my phone's flashlight to see how the print was going, since even with the room's light turned on the print area was too shady. Surely the fact that I print only in black PLA doesn't help! :P I had this old 3 leds 3 watts E27 220V lamp where the led driver died, so I removed said driver and used instead the 12V coming from the unused stepper motor driver slot for the second extruder on my control board to directly power the led board of the lamp. NOTE: after printing it, I realized the threaded insert for the lam is a little small, I had to remove the metal cover to make the plastic screw smaller and now it fits snugly. Print Settings Printer: geeetech i3 pro b Supports: No Infill: 15-20ish Notes: Place the object on the bed so as the back of the E27 holder is laying flat, and the base is pointing upwards, this way you don't need supports at all. I use 5 contours of brim in Cura to increase adhesion.
