I cherished the straightforwardness of the initial design, but it had a major flaw, likely stemming from the excessive swaying of my Z rod: smoothing of the raiser piece combined with the positioning of the bolts led to an even more pronounced artefact on the Z axis, resulting in inconsistent layer heights. I returned to Fusion360 and reworked the entire thing by relocating the nuts 45 degrees around and removing all fillets. The outcome is remarkably good in my case, especially when you consider how much my Z rod was swaying.
