This is a baseplate engineered to pair seamlessly with the micro x-carriage found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:972856. To detach the x-carriage base, simply undo three screws and the entire assembly comes loose. The micro x-carriage ensures that the x-axis belts remain tensioned even when the extruder/hotend is removed. It was designed specifically for knock-off Chinese extruders flooding websites like eBay, Amazon, Banggood, etc. The entire structure relies on M3 screws for its integrity.
