Due to lack of a proper case for this screen I designed my own case. This case will fit the Geekcreit 7 inch raspberry pi touchscreen sold from Banggood among other places. For joining the parts togheter you need to glue in M3 nuts with CA/Epoxy into the frame. I could have made them slot in from the side to avoid the glue part but from experience it's easy that nuts of this size starts turning inside and I didn't want that. The M3 nut slots are wide enough for epoxy to sit inbetween so the nuts are fixed very good once glued. Bolt lenght is approx M3x14mm. I used umbraco bolts that flushmounts with the back of the case. Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: This is designed with 0.2mm layer height in mind. Use 2 Outline/Perimeter Shells to get the walls stronger. I accidentally used 4 on the top print and that leaves a little line without infill in between and this is avoided by using only 2. Beware of warping of the bottom part. This is big and warps pretty easy. I might change to a more vented back-plate in the future to avoid warping only. It doesn't need the venting but it might be one way to avoid warping such a big piece. My first testprint warped slightly but it is still good enough to be used. Please comment if you get into warping troubles or have a solution to them. To avoid problems printing the buttom print it at the same time as you print something else so you get a increased layer time. If you have good cooling it might not be a issue but the layer time is so short that there can be problems printing the part. Print settings: Layer height: 0.2mm Top/bottom solid layers: 4 Outline/perimeters: 2 Nozzle: 0.4 Width: 0.48mm Support: None Temp: 210 nozzle /60 bed for PLA Cooling: after 3 layers Orientation of the parts should be so that the surface going towards the outside is on the bed. For the button the part sticking out needs to be on top.
