A customizable case with a removable probe holds your DIY Geiger Counter kits, designed for the DIYGeigerCounter v4.1 board (https://sites.google.com/site/diygeigercounter/). Two versions are provided, one with standoffs and another without for accommodating different kits. The handle grooves have been removed to ensure easy printing. The probe holder design has also changed to minimize warping effects. The Bill of Materials includes all printed parts, a Geiger tube (SBM-20 from rus-market on EBay), the GK-B4 board and LCD screen from DIYGeigerCounter, coiled cable for probe attachment, a momentary push switch, a slide switch, a D or 3 AA battery holder, hook up wire (18-22AWG), and appropriate wood screws. Print the files with support, depending on whether you have the DIYGeigerCounter kit or not. Attach the switches, LED, speaker, and slide switch to the cover plate using glue, making necessary modifications for your components. Solder hook-up wire from all components to the Geiger board and attach the coiled cable to the HV terminals. Solder the coiled cable leads to the Geiger tube holders and melt the tube holder pins into the probe base using a soldering iron. Glue the battery holder to the battery cover, attach the leads to the power terminals, and screw everything together for a complete assembly.
