PART OF MY "1 Model Upload per day" New Year Resolution. Bath Robotics aka EurIng Andy Southern pushing myself to (re)design and open source as much as I can during this year. Will you try too? This is a quick model I knocked up in Creo Elements which can be used to connect the ends of a train track. Tracks are straight in this burst, and both sets are 45mm difference. (I hope I got that right!). Native format to be uploaded soon. Higher Res than before. Shown is extruded in 3mm "Gold" ABS at 0.25mm 1st layer and 0.4mm further. Acetone Vapour Bath was used to get the finish better than straight off the Mendel I printed on. Works well, I became a hero to my Nephew. Created entirely through my own work so FREE TO USE EVEN TO COMMERCIAL ENTITIES. No non-enforceable terms added to this little project. Frankly I don't even care about attributions. Sadly there is no option for the above in Thingiverse "License". Instructions 0.25mm first layer, 0.4mm thence on. No fan. Heated Bed Mendel like printer. Placed in a Filter Coffee Machine with Acetone Vapour Bath for 10 minutes. Drawn up on Creo Elements - that's ok once you get used to the interface. Designed from scratch - not a remix of anything. Measurements taken from a standard wooden train set.
