Modelled from my Dart XL wing fins / air guides / vortex generators... whatever you want to call them. The idea for this component is two-fold... 1. Helps to reduce lateral airflow along the length of the wing during turns, keeping the air flowing the correct direction over the airfoil for maxium lift generation. 2. Vortex generation effect at the rear tips of the fins helps to break up the boundary layer of stale slow/non moving air on the surface of the wing thereby increasing air mass over the control surfaces giving you more control of the aircraft at slower airspeeds.
