Geneva Drive Mechanism Assembly

Geneva Drive Mechanism Assembly

thingiverse

Just a Geneva Drive Mechanism, it's a pretty cool assembly to add to the pile of pointless 3D parts to show friends and family. The assembly consists of the drive wheel, Geneva wheel and the double bearing base. The tolerance on the bearing base is quite tight, so you might need a bit of torque to get it going, but it does work. You can mechanically fix the assembly using some 3D printed M8 screwed rod & nuts, or however you wish. This is the third revision as the previous models didn't smoothly operate due to high tolerances in the bearing base. I have minimised the tolerance &, hopefully, it should now work just fine.
