<p>My take on the hubs needed to make a geodesic sphere. I made this sphere to act as the outer cover for an RGB LED light ball. Essentially, I want to make a big ~60cm RGB snowball winter decoration. My plan is to wrap this sphere in cling wrap to serve as diffusion material as well as weather shield for the RGB light sphere.</p><p>To complete the sphere, you'll need&nbsp;</p><p>60 sticks at 208mm in length (green in the pictures)</p><p>55 sticks at 180mm in length (red in the pictures)</p><p>I found that the simplest method to put things together properly is to first attach all the 180mm sticks to the 5 point hubs. Then connect all these 5 point stars together at their vertices using the 6 point hubs.</p>
